I’m really disappointed with this school. The communication between teachers and students is poor, and it often feels like students’ concerns aren’t taken seriously. Rules are enforced unfairly — some students get away with things while others are punished for small mistakes. The environment can also feel stressful and unwelcoming. Bullying isn’t handled properly, and when issues are reported, nothing really changes. Facilities are outdated, and classrooms are overcrowded, which makes it hard to focus and learn properly. Overall, I expected better support and fairness. This school has potential, but major improvements are needed in leadership, student support, and communication.

As a ex student, when I went to after care in grade 5 there was a new carer and she was super rude . She loved to blame the intermediate phase for no reason so I left before I punched her. So the intermediate phase HOD pretends to care but loves giving demets and love giving us hard labour of caring her stuff everyday. The school is kak because there's a new rule where girls have to put their hair in a bun everyday. We barely do fun things, it's only the ECD . I heard they are forced to do athletics for their school and it's from 3 to 4 and most kid's transportation left them and they were fetch at 5 with a 50 rand fee . Calvary is such a money grab school , everything is so expensive for no reason. And this school is not a Christian school because we don't practice Christianity often . The school fees is high for no reason. The school punishes the whole class instead of the guilty. The tuckshop called my friend fat by saying " you eat so much" . This school is nothing but kak . The education is poor there is one teacher who's teaches one page for days . They would starve you if you've in break detention. The punishment is horrible, they love giving demirts for homework not done but when bullying I'd happen they just say " say sorry to each other and I'll give the guilty a demerit" but they NEVER get a demerit . They teachers love gossiping about the learners especially the new grade 7 but they disuse it as we are just looking at how you behave. The bathrooms is so unhygienic to a point where the don't clean it days at a time , there's never soap , hand saneriter , toilet paper and there's always pee on the floor without it being cleaned. They are forced to smile even when visitors had arrived even a teacher said " I'll deal with you if make noise " . Teachers love threatening us . I feel bad for the learders because the HOD expects perfect nothing but perfect . Some of the rules are horrible how does hair , makeup and length of hair disturbs our education, aren't we there to learn not for looks .

Calvary Christian college is such a bad and horrible school recently my son was forced to cut the hair 2cm thats such a stupid rule because it doesn’t affect their education other high schools and private schools are letting their students do whatever they want to their but this school is forcing them to have no hair at all if i could give it a 0 star i would facilities are horrible, teachers have to teach mutiple subjects there is barely any sports and cultural activities for our 5 to 10k a month just because its. A Christian school thats ridiculous take your children out of this school and they dont care about the high school there always foing special events for the primary school but they act like they dont care send your child to any other private school it’s actually better to send your child to public school instead of this school for a private school and 5k to 10k its the bare minimum

I am beyond frustrated with the poor quality of education and the overall experience my child has had at this school. As a parent, I trusted this institution to provide a solid, enriching education, but what I’ve witnessed has been nothing short of disappointing. I am writing this review to share my anger and to warn other parents before they waste their time and money.The teaching is simply not up to standard. The curriculum is outdated, and there is a clear lack of resources available to both students and teachers. My child has been struggling in subjects that should be taught with care and dedication, but the teachers are overwhelmed, unengaged, and unable to provide the necessary support. This school claims to offer a “quality education,” but in reality, it’s a disservice to the students.The communication between the school and parents is abysmal. I have made countless attempts to reach out about my concerns, only to be met with vague responses or complete silence. It's as though my concerns don’t matter. Parents are left in the dark, which is completely unacceptable when it comes to our children’s education.When issues are raised, whether academic or behavioral, there’s no accountability. The administration seems to be more concerned with sweeping problems under the rug than addressing them head-on. If you are hoping for any sort of meaningful solution or resolution, don’t expect it here.I am appalled at the fees we are charged, especially considering the lack of quality education and resources provided. The tuition and additional costs feel like an absolute rip-off. I expected so much more for the amount of money I’ve invested, but what we’ve received is far from worth it. The school seems more focused on money-making than providing value to its students.Students here are left to fend for themselves. My child has not felt supported, nor have any of their needs been addressed in a meaningful way. There’s no personalized attention, no encouragement for growth, and no real care for the individual needs of students. How is this acceptable in a place that is supposed to foster growth and learning? Absolutely terrible school.

As a mom of a child who goes to calvary, I am so disappointed, angry, because why are we paying so much and the quality of education is so bad, my child says that her teacher shouted at her for doing the right thing, the call stupid meeting to tell us how to parent our kids, what to put in there lunches,it's like they have a policy for food, and the influence in the school is just so bad, children are doing all different kinds of bad things. It's like the teachers don't get paid, I want to know where my money is going every 1st of the month, I don't want to pay so much for this poor quality, every time they have an event , one time my child came back with an egg in her hair she had done the previous day ,the egg looked like it was cooked,I am just so mad,any parents that wants to put there child in this school don't, they are just greedy adults who want money, nothing in this school doesn't involve money, this place Is horrible for kids, it's like prison but to you have to pay
