I changed my daughter from Hendrik Louw to Kids Academy during Grade R because her HL teacher called her dumb. Thought Kids Academy would be a better fit. The last 2 quarters of Grade R was great because her class teacher was amazing, my daughter got all 7's for the rest of the year. Grade 1 my kid kept getting 7's on her report card but kept struggling with Afrikaans, which is our 1st language. We took her out end of last year due to her picking up on the other kids bad habits and bringing those habits home. We placed her in Lochnerhof for Grade 2 to see if things would change. After 1week her Grade 2 teacher has already noticed a huge gap in her work and we have now realized that she didn't really get all 7's at Kids Academy, I fear her marks were inflated to make the teacher and school look good. How can she have earned all 7's last year but have to already get extra classes for math and afrikaans? I fear the teacher incharge of those subjects fudged the reports to make it look like our daughter was doing far better than she really was doing. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS THERE!

Do not put your kids in this centre, it does not function as a proper school. There isnt enough toilets for the learners, classes are combined. I have nothing against the teachers but my children who were academically strong prior were not being taught properly. Suyen is not a qualified teacher, she is a compulsive liar, she takes zero accountabilty and she and her school should be investigated and this centre should be shut down. She deregistered my children and kept school fees, therefore I am not liable for that notice period legally and monies should of been refunded. She blocked my number and refused to take my call-she is a coward. When confronting her she first did not know what i was talking about, then shifted it to her husband then got aggresive-DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE

I've had a very poor experience here. This place is extremely poorly managed. One of the teachers here was pretty good but left half way through the year and the kids were left unsupervised. There is a lot worse things that happened at the school that I can't talk about in this review but trust me when I advise not to take your kids here.

I don't think this center should be open because my son's friends were talking about a grade 9 male punching one of his female classmates and not getting any type of punishment what so ever. Instead the boy had to write and speak to the class about bullying but instead of coming up with his own he just copied text from google
