About

The name was inspired by the structure that will house the school. This building is an old stone house/hotel on the farm Navar just outside Elliot in the Eastern Cape.? The imagery in the logo simply includes a silhouette of happy children, the stone pillars not only represent the building but the building blocks and foundation of the most crucial years of a child's education. The butterfly is representative of the source from where the motto came.

This place is a real gem, located in the beautiful karoo and far off the beaten track. The Stone Cottage itself is very spacious and comfortable and full of interesting things to look at. Graham and Michele are great hosts and we helped with the farm activities, feeding and watering lambs and chickend and roaming in the karoo. The flowers were out and it was really beautiful. So peaceful and such night skies. This is our third visit!
