The Children's Studio was started by a group of parents in Harfield Village in 1983. Originally the school had a strong art focus and a large studio space set aside for the children, giving the school its name. Since then, the school has grown and matured, and today is a highly respected, parent-owned Montessori school for children aged 2-6. Year after year families entrust us with their children's early education, with many siblings, cousins and neighbors joining each other in the classrooms. We even have a number of parents who attended the school themselves as children now enrolling their own children, a testament to the great foundation they received that they hope to pass on to their own children. At The Children's Studio each child is encouraged to build a solid foundation of learning, respect and self-confidence. This gives them the opportunity to reach their full potential. Both my boys have gone to Children's studio and they have loved it. It's a welcoming, warm environment and I know that my children are well taken care of and loved by everyone that works there.

A wonderful little school for 2 - 6 year olds. It is a Montessori preschool, with relatively small classes. Regular school runs until 12:30 midday, and there are aftercare programmes for the children who need it in the afternoons. The teachers are engaged and nurturing, and it offers a really constructive environment for the children’s development. It’s a nice location - with fun outdoor play area and sandpit as well.

A wonderful school for little ones. My daughter attended and was very happy there. The staff know all the children, respect them and really foster a love for learning. Clean, well resourced classes and a spacious outdoor play area with the ever-so-popular sandpit. I recommend it 100%.
