My son has absolutely thrived at this Montessori preschool. The environment is incredibly welcoming, and you can feel the happiness and calm as soon as you walk in. The school really encourages independence, allowing children to explore, make choices, and build confidence at their own pace. One of the things that stands out most is the amazing collaboration between the children. They learn from one another, support each other, and work together so naturally. It’s a beautiful community, and we’re so grateful to be part of it. Highly recommended.

I wish I could recommend the Maria Montessori pre-school to anyone and everyone, run by Jen in University Estate. It is the most authentic Montessori I've come across - after having visited several before deciding on Jenni’s school. My daughter has been there since May 2024 and has absolutely thrived - Jenni’s way with the kids is so wonderful, tailored to each of their temperaments. All the kids around 4-5 have already started reading. She fosters an environment where kids socialise, problem solve, and learn from each other. My daughter’s independence has grown in leaps and bounds, as did her ability to ask for help when needed. Jen is absolutely thoughtful and intentional about the Montessori philosophy.

This is a gem of a school! Jen goes beyond the call of duty to support kids and parents. Her decades of experience and wisdom really shine through. The lovely home atmosphere, and nurturing space foster self-directed, inter-dependant kids who know how to help each other and ask each other for help, and to play/work together and along-side one another with respect, kindness and inclusiveness. While simultaneously getting a solid foundation in numeracy and literacy through the Montessori systematic learning process. My son has been with Jen for a few years and is now doing Grade R. He began the year already reading - he is so pleased about this! - which is wonderful as he spends most of his time playing. We are so lucky to have this school. Thank you Jen
