Shereens Montessori Pre-Primary was founded in the 1970s by a group of visionary youth and high school contemporaries who shared the idea that nurturing a child impacts directly on the nature of a community. An icon in the Salt River community, Shereens opened its doors in the year of the Sowetan uprising, under the leadership of the late Shereen Jassiem (nee Khan).

Shereens Montessori is a second home for my kids. The teachers and principal put kids first at all times and wants the best for all learners. The school has the most kind and supportive teachers, Principal Sadiya has a heart of gold. My boys love the school and I am a proud Montessori mom.
Best environment, best teachers. Safe and safe space for children to learn.
